This stein style mug was hard for me to let go. It was my favourite mug from this firing because of the bright pink that came through being such a surprise!
Its wide base and narrow rim are designed for minimal cooling, so you can knit a few rows before your tea cools! This is a great mug to have outdoors for your weekends in the yard, and can hold cool drinks with plenty of room for ice.
This mug features botanical and quilting motifs and is fired in a Soda Kiln. In this kiln glaze is sprayed into the ports and deposited onto its surface by the flames. You can read more about soda firing here.
